Selection Philosophy

GCAG matches transaction complexity with the right capabilities. Applicants expressing interest in a particular Circle may, based on the GCAG Platform Onboarding Protocol, be assigned to a different Circle that more appropriately reflects their experience, capabilities and transaction profile. Advancement between Circles is based on demonstrated capability, collaboration, contribution to the ecosystem and consistent performance on the platform.

The Nova Circle is designed for professionals who possess strong promoter relationships, understand financing requirements and actively participate in raising capital for SMEs and mid-market businesses.

Typical Member Profile

  • Regularly works on transaction sizes between ₹1 crore and ₹10 crore
  • Generates annual business volumes ranging from ₹10 crore to ₹100 crore
  • Typical average transaction size is around ₹5 crore
  • Has direct access to promoters, businesses and financing opportunities
  • Understands funding requirements and has access to promoters seeking growth capital, working capital and other financing solutions
  • Primarily focused on opportunity origination and relationship management
  • Not necessarily expected to independently undertake detailed analysis of financial statements, ratios, statutory matters or transaction structuring
